About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a bearing block (item number 2098094) in Dallas County, Texas. This purchase order opportunity, posted on February 24, 2026, with a bid due date of March 3, 2026, requires vendors to supply bearing blocks meeting DART's specifications and technical requirements. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and timely delivery is essential to the order, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules serving as grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors must submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, calculated from either the invoice receipt date or order receipt date, whichever is later. Sellers are responsible for performing all required inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications and must provide commercial warranties confirming merchantable quality and suitability for intended use.
The procurement requires vendors to comply with equal opportunity employment practices and certify that they do not boycott Israel, with all contracts subject to Texas state law and Dallas County venue. DART reserves the right to terminate the order for convenience or default, and in cases of default termination, DART may recover excess reprocurement costs from the seller. While the solicitation documents do not specify set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or small business classifications, the attachment of DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions indicates that standard commercial contracting requirements apply to all bidders. No incumbent vendor information, specific budget range, or award value has been disclosed in the available documentation; interested vendors must access the full bid details and BidTable through the Bonfire registration system by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process to view project specifications and vendor response fields.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
