About this opportunity

The Michael E. Keeling Center for Comparative Medicine and Research at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Bastrop is requesting proposals for removal and disposal of non-human primate solid waste and effluent from five two-chamber interceptors and five lift stations on the Bastrop campus, with proposals due October 7, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. CDT. The scope requires management of waste from five interceptors and five lift stations that vary in size and pumping frequency. Contractors must possess all necessary licensing, equipment, staffing, and technical competence, and must designate a customer service representative for the MD Anderson account. Pricing must be submitted in the required Rider 102 Price Schedule in original Microsoft Excel format. Subcontracting opportunities are probable.

The contract will be governed by MD Anderson's Standard Terms and Conditions, including Rider 107 (Travel Policy) and Rider 116 (Invoice Payment Requirements). For contracts exceeding $1 million, Form 1295 (Disclosure of Interested Parties) must be submitted per Texas House Bill 1295 before execution. All submitted information is non-confidential and subject to disclosure under the Texas Public Information Act following award.

A pre-submittal conference is scheduled for September 16, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. CST via Microsoft Teams. An on-site walk is planned for September 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bastrop campus; attendance requires advance RSVP by 4:00 p.m. on September 21, 2026 to Candice Wooley. Supplier questions are due September 30, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. CST, with questions and answers published by October 2, 2026. Award will be made on best-value scoring by the evaluation committee.
