About this opportunity
The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking bids for the procurement of an Auto/Truck Cross Flow Spray Booth with fire suppression system through a Documented Quote Solicitation (CAAA 2016000992) for delivery to the Buena Vista Correctional Complex Auto Body Program. The solicitation specifically requests one GFS Auto/Truck Crossflow Spray Booth Model # CDG-1414NSB-35 and one integrated fire suppression system. The booth specifications include 18-gauge galvanized steel panel construction, a 40-inch tube axial in-line exhaust fan with 5HP tri-voltage motor, 15 fluorescent light fixtures, filtered product entry door, personnel access doors with tempered glass observation windows, and control package for 208-volt 3-phase operation with 40-inch diameter exhaust ductwork designed for 22-foot high-pitched roof installation. All necessary assembly hardware and installation drawings must be included with the delivery. The bid submission deadline is February 16, 2016, at 1:00 PM MST, with responses accepted via email to maryann.shaw@state.co.us or fax to 719-269-4064. Evaluation criteria include cost, quality/safety/security considerations, projected delivery date and availability, anticipated life-cycle costs such as energy usage and maintenance, bidder qualifications and experience, and past performance. Competitive equal products may be submitted if product information demonstrates equivalency to the specified manufacturer and model.
Bidders must be registered on the Colorado Vendor Self Service website to respond and prospective contractors and their employees may be required to undergo criminal background checks and sign Consent to Search Authorization forms prior to admittance to CDOC facilities. Preference will be given to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certifications based in Colorado. Tobacco and contraband items are prohibited on CDOC property. Payment terms are assumed to be Net-45 days after receipt of goods and invoice unless otherwise specified by the bidder, though terms less than 45 days are acceptable only if they include a discount structure such as Net-45/2%-10 days. No specific award value, budget range, or contract term duration is provided in the solicitation document, and no incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified.
