About this opportunity

The Town of Palm Beach, Florida is soliciting competitive bids from qualified and experienced vendors to provide automotive parts and accessories on a one-year contract basis. This procurement seeks suppliers capable of delivering a comprehensive range of automotive components and accessories with pricing valid for the entire contract period, including all shipping charges to the destination point of West Palm Beach, Florida 33401. Vendors are not obligated to bid on all items and may quote only products currently in their inventory; however, all quotations for substitute items must include exact manufacturer and part numbers for Town evaluation and determination of equivalency. The Town reserves the right to award on an all-or-none basis to a single bidder, on an item-by-item basis, or to designate primary, secondary, and tertiary suppliers as deemed most advantageous. All bids must be submitted using Town-provided forms with all sections completed and no modifications permitted; failure to comply may result in bid rejection. Payment terms are net thirty days from invoice submission, with items ordered on an as-needed basis via purchase orders. The bid opening is scheduled as a virtual Microsoft Teams meeting with the specific date and time provided in the solicitation events; bids remain valid for ninety days from the opening date, and the Town will issue a Notice of Award within ninety days thereafter.

All proposers must comply with Florida's E-Verify requirements by registering with E-Verify.gov and verifying employment eligibility for all newly hired workers, subcontractors, and consultants, with violations subject to contract termination and one-year debarment from future Town awards. Vendors must also certify compliance with Florida Statutes sections 215.4725, 215.473, and 287.135 by completing the Scrutinized Companies Form, attesting that they do not appear on any scrutinized companies lists, are not participating in boycotts of Israel, and have no prohibited business relationships with Sudan, Iran, Cuba, or Syria. All contractors must submit completed Contractor Information Forms and IRS Form W-9, maintain current occupational licenses, and comply with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws and regulations. The Town will conduct vendor responsibility determinations in accordance with Florida Statutes Section 287.05701 prior to contract award and maintains the right to reject any or all bids and award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on best value to the municipality. No specific budget range or incumbent vendors are identified in the solicitation documents; the Town of Palm Beach has established a deadline of May 4, 2026, for all bid submissions.
