The scope covers installation of a new 400-ampere single-phase 120/240-volt overhead electrical service to support a new portable building, including all permitting, coordination, and inspections with the City of Austin and Austin Energy. The electrical panel must accommodate at least four 100-ampere, two-pole bolt-in breakers with provisions for future additions, with Square D as the preferred brand. Performance and payment bonds are required if the contract exceeds thresholds ($100,000 for performance; $25,000 for payment), with bond costs included in the base bid. DPS will withhold 10 percent retainage until all work is accepted and warranty documentation is received. The contract term runs from the effective date through August 31, 2027, with DPS retaining the right to extend for up to six additional months for re-advertising or transitioning. The contract is subject to continued funding availability. Written questions are due September 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT, with answers anticipated by September 14.
