About this opportunity
El Dorado County is requesting qualifications for as-needed and urgent or immediate facilities condition assessment, environmental inspections and radon remediation, and project management services at County-owned or operated facilities throughout El Dorado County boundaries on both East and West Slopes, with submissions due August 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Respondents may apply for one or more of the three service categories and will be ranked on a qualified list with a maximum validity period of three years; the County specifies no guaranteed minimum or maximum number of successful respondents or specific volume of work assignments.
For Facilities Condition Assessment Services, firms must have at least one senior staff member who is a licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect, with preference for IFMA CFM or AFE CPE credentials. For Project Management Services, firms should demonstrate a minimum of five years' documented experience and preferably hold PMP, CAPM, CCM, or equivalent certifications.
Evaluation criteria are questionnaire responses (70 points), current licenses and certifications (20 points), and at least three project references (10 points). Fee schedules will remain unopened until top-ranked respondent(s) are identified. All submittals must comply with prevailing wage requirements and applicable public works regulations. Experience with California local governments is desirable. The deadline for questions is July 17, 2026, with answers posted on or about July 24, 2026. Submissions are encouraged online through PlanetBids but hard-copy submissions are accepted at the Procurement and Contracts Division office in Placerville.
