About this opportunity

The Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal (FM) in the state of Florida is seeking to purchase ArcGIS software licenses, maintenance and support, end-user training, and documentation. This proprietary software will be used to create and maintain a website to host the Division of State Fire Marshal Mine Activity Clearinghouse website. The agency has determined that the ArcGIS proprietary mapping technology has no equivalent that can suit their needs, and this solution will provide total design control of the website, data analysis and visualization capabilities, and website hosting services. The estimated dollar amount for this single-source acquisition is $60,120.00. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide these services are required to provide relevant information no later than September 27, 2022, at 9:00 AM (ET). If it is determined in writing by the Department that the services are available only from a single source, the Department will post on the Vendor Bid System a notice of its intended decision to enter into an agreement with the vendor pursuant to Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes.

This opportunity is not designated as a set-aside for any specific type of organization. The agency has not identified any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and there are no explicit requirements for integration with existing infrastructure or technology. The budget for this procurement is limited to $60,120.00, and the agency is seeking a single-source provider that can meet their specific requirements for the ArcGIS software and related services.
