Telonics Inc. is identified as the sole manufacturer, dealer, and distributor of the required transmitter model. The intended single source contract is for up to $66,000 and will support the FWC's ongoing crocodile tracking research that has been conducted since 2018 using the Telonics transmitters. No competitive bidding process is required for this single source procurement, and interested parties have 72 hours to file a protest under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, if they believe the single source justification is insufficient.
