Bulloch County offers a local vendor preference provision for purchases of $15,000 or more, whereby local vendors within five percent of the lowest bid may match the lowest bid if quality, service, price, and other factors are substantially equal. No specific set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises are detailed in the procurement documents provided. The incumbent vendor for this procurement is Ten-8 Fire & Safety Equipment, which was previously awarded $634,910.00 for the purchase of two ambulances under the prior solicitation. Technical inquiries regarding specifications and project details should be directed to Brian Hendrix, EMS Director, or Lloyd Shurling, Assistant EMS Director, at (912) 764-6188, while procurement procedure questions should be directed to Faye Bragg, Purchasing Manager, at fbragg@bullochcounty.net, with proposal packages available at http://bullochcounty.net/bid-opportunities/. The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or informalities at its discretion to make the award it deems in the best interest of the County.
