About this opportunity
Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners' Procurement Department is requesting quotations for aluminum sign blanks under term contract RFQ #26-0214/RC, with quotes due October 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible quoter, or to a certified Small Business Enterprise vendor within 10% of the lowest bid if deemed responsive and responsible, reflecting a SBD Program evaluation framework.
Quoters must submit responses to the Procurement Department at 50 South Military Trail, Suite 110, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415-3199, or via email to rchiego@pbc.gov and PUR-PurchTeam1@pbc.gov. Questions are due October 9, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. All vendors and subcontractors must be registered in the County's Vendor Self Service system prior to contract finalization.
Pricing must be offered as single, fixed unit prices without escalation clauses, and quoters warrant that prices shall remain firm for ninety days from submission and throughout the contract term. A 5% local preference applies to quoters with permanent places of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades. The contract covers both federally funded and non-federally funded portions, with the latter subject to SBD Program requirements.
Deliveries must occur during normal County working hours, and time is of the essence. The County retains the right to cancel orders and purchase elsewhere if delivery dates are not met. The County reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and reserves non-exclusive procurement authority to acquire similar goods through State of Florida contracts if lower pricing is available.
Respondents with SBE goals must complete Subcontractor/Subconsultant Schedules 1–4 under Emergency Ordinance 2025-014, documenting subcontractor information, work scope, dollar amounts, and payment status throughout the contract term.
