About this opportunity
Gwinnett County Department of Transportation is requesting quotes for the purchase, installation, and 12-month subscription of an Airport Operations Tracking System under Informal Written Quotation (IWQ), with quotes due June 21, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. and a question deadline of June 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
The system must deliver real-time takeoff and landing data, pavement utilization tracking, aircraft parking destination records, noise abatement capabilities with flight track data and geo-fencing functionality, and comprehensive reporting on landings, takeoffs, aircraft categories, and after-hours operations detection. Bidders must specify in calendar days the time required to begin installation and complete work; delivery and completion time will factor into award determination. Delivery is F.O.B. destination, prepaid and allowed to Gwinnett County Department of Transportation-Airport, 600 Brisco Boulevard, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.
Unit pricing must include all charges, including delivery and installation. Samples, if required, must be provided within five business days at no expense to the County. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Gwinnett County is exempt from federal excise tax and Georgia sales tax; contractors are responsible for applicable taxes on materials and services.
Bidders must submit a minimum of three references for similar projects and certificates of insurance meeting specified requirements: commercial general liability of $500,000, auto liability of $500,000, and umbrella liability of $1,000,000. Bidders must also submit a notarized Contractor Affidavit and Agreement for compliance with the Georgia Illegal Immigration Reform Enhancements for 2013. Bid bonds are not required. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award to single or multiple bidders as deemed in its best interest. Lindsey Gravitt (770-822-7833) is the buyer for award-related inquiries.
