About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Administrative Services is soliciting bids for one aircraft engine for a 2002 Cessna 182T (airframe serial number 18281840), with bids due September 6, 2023. The engine remanufacturer and bidding supplier must be FAA-approved and OEM-approved — the controlling eligibility filter.
The procurement seeks a zero-time factory rebuilt Lycoming IO540AB1A5 engine to replace the current engine (serial number L-28405-48E). The engine must arrive with a fresh logbook and include all items specified in the attached specifications document, revised August 28, 2023 to correct a serial number error. Bid price must include all freight costs for shipping the new engine and returning the core engine; no additional charges are permitted.
A Bid Tabulation document is attached, serving as the official record of bids received and evaluated. Technical support for the Team Georgia Marketplace platform is available through the DOAS Customer Service Help Desk at 404-657-6000 (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET) or ProcurementHelp@doas.ga.gov.
