About this opportunity

The Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) Purchasing Office, representing Metropolitan State University of Denver's Human Performance and Sport Department, is soliciting quotes for a complete musculoskeletal ultrasound system procurement. The solicitation seeks a fully integrated ultrasound package including the M-MSK System with M-Turbo software for needle visualization, biopsy-compatible transducers, universal stand, power supply, five-year warranty, and onsite training to be delivered and operational by June 30, 2016. The quoted system must meet specific technical requirements including a dynamic range of 165 dB, frequency range of 1-13 MHz, a display area of at least VGA 640 x 480, and support for a minimum of seven transducers with multiple imaging tools. Vendors must demonstrate direct experience working with Certified Athletic Trainers and provide references substantiating such experience. All quotes must be submitted to the AHEC Purchasing Office at 1201 Fifth Street, Suite 370, Denver, CO 80204, either in person or via fax to 303-556-2093, with a firm deadline of May 3, 2016, at 2:00 PM Mountain Time. Vendors quoting equivalent products rather than the specified SonoSite brand must submit complete technical specifications, product data sheets, and warranty information demonstrating equivalency to the reference specifications. All costs must be provided on a firm basis for 90 days following the quote due date and presented on the provided cost table with no modifications permitted, reflecting F.O.B. Destination delivery.

Colorado residency preference provisions apply pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 8-18-101, which provide preference to resident bidders against nonresident bidders. All vendors must submit a completed W-9 form and Vendor Mailing Address Form with their quotes and provide a Certificate of Insurance within ten business days of award. The contract terms and conditions require vendor compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including OSHA requirements, E-Verify Program employment eligibility verification, and Colorado Department of Labor and Employment standards. Vendors must comply with all applicable Cyber Security Policies and confidentiality agreements, with payment to be rendered within 45 days of receipt of products and a correct invoice at the rate of interest specified in CRS 24-30-202(24) accruing on day 46 for unpaid balances. The State of Colorado is exempt from federal excise taxes and all state and local sales and use taxes. AHEC reserves the right to reject all quotes, cancel the solicitation, make multiple awards if beneficial to the State, or award to alternate vendors within the competitive range if the initial awardee fails to negotiate acceptable contract terms. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the solicitation materials.
