About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, has issued Addendum No. 1 to BDC01-26/27 for sewer improvements at Curry Hammock State Park, with bids due August 12, 2026. The addendum must be signed by contractors and included with bid submissions to Alisha Sadler, Contracts Specialist, at 3800 Commonwealth Boulevard, MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000; failure to include the signed addendum may result in bid rejection.

The addendum clarifies a material specification: 2-inch diameter ductile iron pipe (DIP) is not available from vendors. Contractors are authorized to substitute high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, using the same material specification as the remainder of the project's force main piping system. All other contract documents and attachments remain in full force and effect.
