About this opportunity
The City of Tampa, Florida, on behalf of Hillsborough County Government, is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for ADA Push Button supplies to support various municipal departments. The solicitation requires vendors to provide 24 left push buttons with mounts, 24 right push buttons with mounts, 40 standard push buttons with mounts, 310 push buttons without LED and mounts, and 390 twelve-volt, 100-ampere-hour batteries. All materials must be factory-fresh, first-quality products with original manufacturer warranties guaranteed for 365 days from acceptance. Bidders must submit sealed bids electronically through the OpenGov eProcurement Portal by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, with questions regarding bid documents due within six business days prior to bid opening. Bid prices must be firm and include all shipping costs, taxes, and royalties, with delivery required within 10 calendar days of purchase order receipt. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder within 120 days of bid opening and will have an initial one-year term with options for two additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement, plus potential unilateral extension by the City for up to three additional 30-day periods at identical terms and conditions. Vendors must register to transact business in Florida, comply with E-Verify requirements, provide background checks for assigned employees, and maintain compliance with the City of Tampa's Ethics Code and non-discrimination policies.
The procurement includes a five percent bid discount, up to a maximum of $10,000, available exclusively to certified Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBEs), which will be applied for evaluation purposes only. The City has identified four certified SLBEs available for potential participation: Dry 24 Water Restoration LLC, Fry Entertainment Inc., M.P.G. & Company Inc., and SAT Industrial Supplies & Solutions LLC. Bidders utilizing SLBE subcontractors must submit the required DMI-40 Form Letter of Intent within ten workdays after notice of intent to award and must provide executed subcontract agreements or purchase orders prior to the SLBE's commencement of work. All proposers must address comprehensive accessibility compliance requirements, including an Accessibility Conformance Report demonstrating compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards and Section 508 requirements, with the City reserving the right to conduct demonstrations and hands-on testing of proposed products prior to award. No specific budget or award value range is disclosed in the procurement documents; contract value will be determined based on responsive bids received for the specified quantities and product configurations.
