ACA Driver Training Simulator RFI ARN

The Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Administration Academy is seeking information through a Request for Information (RFI) on law enforcement driver training simulator products and services. The ISP is interested in implementing a scenario-based simulation system for training ISP cadets and local agency recruits in emergency vehicle operations and law enforcement driving, as they currently do not have a driver training simulator. The RFI invites respondents to submit non-proprietary, non-price information about the availability of specified types of supplies and services, including details on implementation options, security and encryption, and any other relevant considerations. Responses to the RFI are due by March 25, 2019 at 5:00 PM Central Time, and while responding does not obligate the state to conduct a future procurement, all information received will be available for public review.

The RFI does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and it does not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors. Additionally, the RFI does not provide any information on existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration, or on possible award values or budget ranges.
