About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Health's Bureau of Public Health Laboratories (BPHL) is seeking to procure helpdesk, maintenance, performance monitoring, and technical support services for their custom-designed Newborn Screening Web Ordering system, including Azure infrastructure support. The selected vendor will be responsible for fixing any application deficiencies, making minor enhancements, and supporting the ongoing rollout to birthing center customers. Key objectives include ensuring the application's functionality and performance adhere to the approved design specifications. The Department is requesting authorization to purchase these services as a single source from AAJ Computer Services, Inc. dba OZ, the company that jointly designed, built, and currently supports the application. The estimated dollar value for the 3-year contract is $229,500. The Department has determined that AAJ is the only vendor with the specific knowledge of the system architecture, design specifications, and subject matter expertise required to provide the requested services and support.
This procurement is not designated for any specific set-aside programs. However, AAJ Computer Services, Inc. dba OZ is the incumbent vendor and the only source able to provide the required services. The Department has indicated that these services are only available from a single source. The deadline for this opportunity is April 17, 2022, with no scheduled site visits or bidders' meetings.
