About this opportunity

The State of Georgia's Department of Natural Resources is seeking to procure one (1) Portable Multi-Threat Gas Monitoring Kit through an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) issued under the State Purchasing Act. This one-time procurement opportunity requires potential bidders to be registered in TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE to view complete RFQ details and submit bids electronically. The primary objective is to establish a contract with a single qualified supplier who can provide a specialized gas monitoring kit meeting specific mandatory requirements detailed in the bid attachments. The solicitation was posted on November 18, 2025, with a bid submission deadline of December 5, 2025. Award will be made to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting all specified technical specifications. Prospective vendors must carefully review all RFQ documentation and are prohibited from communicating with state staff outside of prescribed channels during the solicitation period. Questions regarding the procurement process can be directed to the procurement help desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or by calling 404-657-6000.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises were explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. The procurement appears to be open to qualified vendors who can successfully register in TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE and meet the technical requirements for the gas monitoring kit. While the exact budget or potential award value was not specified, this appears to be a singular, targeted procurement for one monitoring kit for the Department of Natural Resources. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with all system navigation requirements, including proper attachment review procedures and electronic submission protocols. The state reserves the right to reject bids for procedural violations and maintains strict communication guidelines to ensure a fair and transparent procurement process.
