About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources issued a Request for Quotes (eRFQ) pursuant to the State Purchasing Act for a one-time purchase of three (3) portable multi-threat gas monitoring equipment from a single qualified supplier. The solicitation was posted on September 30, 2025, with a bid due date of October 15, 2025. However, this procurement has been cancelled as of October 28, 2025, due to the State Entity's determination that requirements needed to be redeveloped. The original intent was to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specified equipment requirements. All bidders were required to register in the TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE to access the complete RFQ and attachments and submit bids electronically through that system. Prospective bidders were instructed to review the solicitation regularly during the period for any posted addenda or answers to submitted questions and were prohibited from communicating with State staff except through the designated Issuing Officer.

The solicitation documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendor information, or specific award values and budget ranges for this procurement. Upon cancellation, all materials submitted by vendors under the original solicitation were to remain confidential pending the rebid process. The State indicated that all procurement records would be made publicly available upon issuance of the Notice of Intent to Award for the subsequent solicitation, in accordance with Section I.6 of the Georgia Procurement Manual. Interested vendors were directed to monitor the Georgia Procurement Registry at https://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/gpr/ for reissuance announcements and to contact the procurement help desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or 404-657-6000 with administrative questions regarding future solicitation efforts for this equipment.
