Opportunity text
*ATTENTION BIDDERS: *(Please see changes/revisions to clarify the new multi-year mini contract). It is time for our new fiscal year's requisition bid process to open in Alabama Buys for our Backflow Prevention Inspections, and we are obtaining bids for the following as a five-year agreement under the CPO small purchase agreement: *Respective Bidders please note changes to the period of service for this bid has now changed to a five-year period, which includes fiscal years 2027- fiscal year 2031 Beginning 10.1.26 and ending 9.30.31. Please see example below of how to enter bid. *If you bid on this five-year contract, you will not be able to make any pricing changes for the entire five-year period of this contract. What you will be bidding on is the price for the annual fiscal year period of 2027 - 2031, but on your bid, you will only enter the pricing for each valve for fiscal year 2027 i.e. $1.00 per valve X 3 for the annual bid amount of $3.00, but it will be a mini contract with this same amount for each year of the five-year contract. No changes for the five-year period to pricing allowed. This means that you as a vendor will not have to rebid each year of the five-year period, but the state will issue a new purchase order for each fiscal year of that multi-year contract period.
