The procurement includes a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) preference program under Michigan Public Act 91 of 2005, which provides eligible businesses with a 10 percent pricing advantage when bidding on this state project; eligible businesses must be 51 percent or more owned by one or more veterans with a service-connected disability and must submit appropriate documentation with their bid response, including proof of service and discharge status, proof of service-connected disability, and proof of business ownership, or alternatively provide National Veterans Business Development Council certification.
