About this opportunity
King's Daughters Medical Center (KDMC), a rural acute-care hospital in Brookhaven, Mississippi, is requesting sealed bids for a hospital-wide telemetry and patient monitoring system as a single-phase turnkey solution, with bids due October 28, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Central Time and public opening at 2:00 p.m. the same day. The procurement is federally funded through the Mississippi Rural Health Transformation Program and subject to 2 CFR Part 200 compliance, incorporating domestic-preference, small-business, minority-business, women's-business, veteran-owned, and labor-surplus-area provisions.
The scope encompasses 28 wearable wireless telemetry transmitters with ECG/arrhythmia monitoring (at least 6 channels with SpO2 capability); redundant virtualized central monitoring infrastructure with initial capacity for 32 patient sectors, scalable to 128; 34 bedside display monitors (6 ICU, 17 Emergency Department, 6 PACU, 7 OR) with fixed and transport-capable configurations; 36 transport-capable multiparameter modules; central workstations with displays and printing; complete Meditech HL7 ADT and results integration; and all hardware, software, licenses, installation, integration, training, support, and endpoint cabling and wireless remediation as firm-fixed-price deliverables. Bids must include itemized labor rates, assumptions, and exclusions with no undisclosed freight or travel charges. Bidders must provide at least three comparable acute-care hospital references, preferably with Meditech integration and similar scale.
KDMC will retain at least 10 percent of contract value until final acceptance. All work must be installed, integrated, tested, and fully accepted by June 30, 2027, with final invoicing completed by that date. Contract execution is contingent upon Mississippi State Department of Health pre-execution review, with notice to proceed targeted for November 19, 2026 or later. Written questions are due October 20, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Bids must remain valid for 180 days.
