About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotes for a 40' High Cube Storage Container under a requirements micro purchase, with quotes due July 21, 2026. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, on an as-a-whole or by-line-item basis at the City's discretion; sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award.
The quotation ceiling is $45,000, adjusted annually by the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) from January 1, 2020, rounded to the nearest thousand dollars. The contract term is 365 days from the effective date stated in PHLContracts, with no obligation for the City to receive or pay for products ordered after close of business on the final day. Prices quoted remain valid for 60 days from submission and throughout the contract term for requirements contracts. All pricing must be quoted net and exclusive of taxes, with delivery FOB destination; the City is exempt from federal excise, transportation, and Pennsylvania sales taxes.
Submission occurs through PHLContracts, the City's eProcurement platform. Sellers must execute and submit a Consent and Authorization Agreement prior to bid closing, either by attaching a signed copy to their vendor profile during registration or by including it with their first submitted quote. Mandatory documentation includes proof of workers' compensation insurance at statutory limits, general liability insurance of $500,000 per occurrence, and automobile liability insurance of $300,000 per occurrence. Sellers must also certify non-indebtedness to the City, compliance with Philadelphia business tax obligations, and adherence to nondiscrimination and ethics requirements. Submission of the optional LGBTQ Applicant Opportunity Data Form is voluntary. The City will accept or reject quotes within 60 days of submission; no delivery or services shall commence until the City issues a purchase order and notifies the seller. For procedural questions, contact Philadelphia Procurement Customer Service at PHLContracts@phila.gov or 215-686-4755, 215-686-4720, or 215-686-4721.
