Key procurement dates include a January 16, 2026 deadline for questions, with agency responses published by January 26, 2026, and sealed bids due February 20, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. CST. The bid opening is scheduled for February 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CST, with a Notice of Intent to Award anticipated February 24, 2026, and the initial contract period running from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
Vendors must have been in business providing similar services for a minimum of five years and possess a current Mississippi business license and appropriate professional credentials. Bidders must submit separate unit pricing for Standard and On-Call services at both ESS and SMRC, with pricing inclusive of all associated costs including labor, equipment, materials, insurance, overhead, profit, vehicles, fuel, mileage, training, and professional licenses. The agency will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder but reserves the right to make an award in its best interest. Vendors must provide three trade references, with agency staff able to contact at least two references within two business days of bid opening.
