About this opportunity

The County seeks an indefinite quantity, firm fixed price contract for three bag types: 2,400 adult bags (94" x 36"), 60 pediatric bags (48" x 24"), and 20 oversized adult bags (108" x 58"). All items must be new and commercially manufactured, with leak-resistant, envelope-style construction and heavy-duty zippers. The successful vendor must supply manufacturer documentation covering material composition, load capacity, construction, shelf life, temperature storage, OSHA compliance, and leak-resistance certifications. Product samples are required for the adult and pediatric bags but not the oversized bag.
Pricing must be FOB Destination, with unloading and assembly included and all freight and handling built into the unit price. Bidders must carry commercial general liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence with a $2 million general aggregate, plus automobile liability coverage of $500,000. Payment terms are Net 30, with a cash discount permitted for payment within not less than twenty days after inspection, delivery, and acceptance. The County is exempt from Georgia sales tax.
The initial term runs from 2027 through December 31, 2027, with two one-year renewal options subject to Board of Commissioners approval and annual appropriations. Award goes to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, weighed on price, conformance to specifications, quality, financial ability, and bidder references. The bid opening is held the same day at 11:15 a.m. by web conference, and no pre-bid conference was held.
