About this opportunity

The State of Wyoming Department of Administration and Information, Purchasing Section, is requesting bids for one 2026 model year or newer Ski-doo Summit Expert snowmobile for Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Resources, with bids due August 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. MT and questions due August 13, 2026.

A resident-certification preference applies under W.S. 9-2-3204(b)(iv)(G); certification must be obtained by the bid due date, with the Department of Workforce Services available at (307) 777-7261 for assistance.

The snowmobile must be equipped with an 850 e-tec engine, 165-inch track, 180 HP capacity, Powdermax x-light track, spare drive belt, spare spark plugs, ice scratchers, and cover. If a demonstration model is bid, mileage must not exceed 300 miles and a full season bumper-to-bumper warranty with complete service and inspection documentation confirming like-new condition is required. Delivery is to 125 Sunflower Street, Lander, Wyoming 82520. Bid prices must include delivery fees, title, and titling costs. All documentation — Wyoming Certificate of Title made out to Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Resources and two copies of itemized invoices or factory line setting tickets showing all factory options — must be submitted with the bid.

The Wyoming Trails Program justifies brand-specific procurement by reference to demonstrated equipment reliability, parts availability, customer service support, and minimized downtime during short seasonal operating windows. The program notes that past attempts to accept low-bid equipment from alternative manufacturers resulted in specification failures and costs exceeding initial savings.

All bids and certifications must be submitted completely through the Public Purchase online bidding system; submissions by email or paper will be rejected. Payment is due within forty-five days of invoice submission, contingent on delivery and acceptance of all required documentation.
