The State of Ohio, specifically Preble County, is seeking procurement of a 2025 ICON G60L Golf Cart through a competitive bidding process posted on May 14, 2025, with proposals due by May 30, 2025. The procurement is for a street-legal, gas-powered 6-passenger golf cart to be delivered to 338 West Shore Blvd in Put-In-Bay, Ohio. Required specifications include two brake lights, headlights, taillights, turn signals, horn, rearview mirror, windshield, appropriate brakes, steering mechanism, and seat belts. The procurement will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with all proposals required to be submitted through the Ohio Buys platform. The vendor will be responsible for all delivery fees, including transportation via the Put-In-Bay ferry, and must adhere to detailed invoicing requirements that include submitting electronic or mailed documentation to Financial Shared Services with specific invoice elements.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent organizations were explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. The procurement appears to be open to standard vendors capable of meeting the specified golf cart requirements. While no incumbent vendors were identified, the solicitation emphasizes that all risks of loss remain with the contractor until the deliverable is accepted by the state. The document indicates that no sales tax will be applied to the transaction. Though a precise award value was not specified, the procurement is for a single vehicle with standard street-legal golf cart specifications. Potential bidders should be prepared to provide a comprehensive proposal that demonstrates their ability to meet the technical specifications, delivery requirements, and invoicing guidelines outlined in the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Quick Quote Template.
