About this opportunity
The Keep Oregon Green Association (KOG) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for website development targeting youth fire prevention education, specifically seeking a contractor to create an interactive and educational wildfire prevention website. The project requires comprehensive website development, including conducting an analysis of existing wildfire prevention websites, identifying key educational components, developing design concepts, building a full mobile-compatible website, and providing testing, launch, and operational training support. Proposers must demonstrate relevant experience in website design, strong management capabilities, and a robust technical approach. The RFP evaluation will be based on the contractor's qualifications, technical methodology, and fee proposal, with the contract awarded to the highest-scoring respondent. The proposal submission deadline is March 7, 2022, at 3:00 pm Pacific Time, with an anticipated project completion timeline of 4-6 months targeting early June or July 2022.
While no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational types were explicitly mentioned in the documentation, the RFP indicates a project budget range of $35,000-$45,000 for the website development. The contract will be managed through Marion County, Oregon, with KOG reserving the right to amend the resulting contract, including potential modifications to the statement of work, project timeline, and compensation. No information was provided about incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure that would require integration. Prospective contractors should be prepared to demonstrate expertise in youth-focused educational website design, interactive digital content creation, and the ability to develop a compelling, informative platform focused on wildfire prevention education for young audiences.
