About this opportunity
The Housing Authority of the City of Hartford has issued an Invitation for Bids (ITB #8187) seeking to contract with one or more staffing agencies to provide temporary office workers and laborers on an "as needed, when needed" basis. The procurement is located in Hartford County, Connecticut, and will support services across multiple locations including the Authority's warehouse, administration building, and scattered sites within their portfolio. The solicitation is open to all vendors and seeks staffing agencies capable of providing flexible temporary workforce solutions to meet the Authority's fluctuating operational needs. The bid response period runs from April 22, 2022, at 7:00 AM EDT through May 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM EDT, with bids to be submitted electronically to Kim Cotharin. The Authority reserves the right to make single or multiple awards based on what is deemed in their best interest, with delivery terms specified as Free On Board Destination and payment terms to be vendor-specified. Potential bidders can contact Kim Cotharin at 860-723-8435 or bids@hartfordhousing.org for any questions regarding the solicitation.
The ITB does not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are mentioned in the documentation, and there are no explicit details about existing infrastructure or technology integration requirements. The solicitation does not provide an estimated total contract value or specific budget range for the temporary staffing services. The procurement appears to be a straightforward, open competition for staffing agencies to provide temporary workers across various administrative and labor roles. The Authority's approach suggests flexibility in vendor selection and a desire to establish a pool of qualified staffing providers who can respond quickly to the organization's workforce needs. No specific evaluation criteria beyond the Authority's determination of its best interest are outlined in the available documents.
