About this opportunity
The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting quotations for 2012 Tackle-Busters Club Stickers under an RFQ closing February 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Quotations must be submitted electronically through the State of Maine's Vendor Self Service (VSS) platform.
A price preference for recycled-content paper products applies: vendors submitting bids on paper or paper products containing a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled material qualify for up to a 10% price preference if their bid falls within 10% of the lowest conforming bid. Vendors must explicitly disclose in their response that they are bidding recycled paper products and state the specific recycled content percentage in the comments section.
The solicitation includes design samples illustrating visual design, messaging, and layout options for stickers to support the Tackle-Busters Club initiative. Certified wood product specifications apply to any wood product components incorporated into deliverables. Unit pricing must be submitted for each item, with unit price governing in case of discrepancy between unit and total prices. Delivery terms are FOB Destination with all transportation charges prepaid by the successful bidder.
The State reserves the right to award based strictly on lowest price or on a combination of factors including quality, conformity to specifications, delivery time, and cost, with price receiving a minimum of 25% weight. In tied quotations, preference may be given to in-state bidders or those offering Maine-manufactured products. Past performance may be considered in award determination. Standard payment terms are net 30 from receipt of a correct invoice. The Division may extend the contract period by mutual consent up to a maximum of three years, with any cost overruns not to exceed 3% of the original bid amount.
