About this opportunity
The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting quotations for 2011 Tackle Buster Stickers, with quotations due March 20, 2012. A recycled-content price preference applies: bids offering paper products with a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled material that are within 10% of the lowest compliant bid may receive up to a 10% price preference.
The scope is production and delivery of sticker products designed to promote tackle awareness or safety initiatives. Bidders must disclose recycled-content status and material composition in their solicitation response comments.
Quotations must be submitted electronically through the State of Maine's Vendor Self Service (VSS) platform and close at 2:00 p.m. local time on the deadline. Award shall be made on lowest price or on a combination of factors including quality, conformity with specifications, delivery time and destination, and overall cost, with price receiving a minimum of 25% weight. Past performance may be considered as a factor in award.
The contract includes an extension clause allowing the State Purchasing Director to extend the contract period beyond the initial expiration date with contractor consent, with a maximum total contract period not to exceed three years. The State reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities by up to 10% at agreed-upon pricing. All purchases are on an FOB Destination basis with transportation charges prepaid by the successful bidder. Payment terms are net 30 from receipt of correct invoice. The State is exempt from federal and state taxes; quoted prices must exclude these taxes.
