The scope encompasses complete kitchen demolition and reconstruction in a residential facility, including removal and replacement of existing cabinetry, countertops, flooring, appliances, lighting fixtures, doors, and outlets. New installations include American Wood Mark or approved-equal cabinets, custom quartz countertops with backsplash, stainless steel undermount sink with gooseneck faucet and garbage disposal, LED canned and under-cabinet lighting, sheet vinyl flooring with rubber base, electrical upgrades with tamper-resistant GFCI receptacles and arc-fault circuit interrupters, and paint touch-up and wall repairs. The kitchen dimensions are approximately 9 feet 10 inches by 18 feet 4 inches. Work must be completed within 120 days of award. The residence remains occupied during construction, and the contractor is responsible for all property damage and daily tool and material security.

Contractors must maintain Workers' Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per person and $2 million aggregate, naming New York State as additional insured. Work must carry a one-year guarantee covering parts, materials, and labor. The bid price is all-inclusive, covering materials, labor, disposal fees, and site cleanup. Written questions are due October 1, 2026, with official responses by October 5, 2026. Bids must remain valid through January 5, 2027. Subcontractors require pre-approval. Contact Jeremy Bovenzi, Plant Superintendent, at 585-371-9055, or request an invitation via fax to 585-461-8811 (Attention: Amy Gordillo-Torres) or email to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov.
