The City of Olive Branch, located in DeSoto County, Mississippi, is conducting a procurement process for a leaf truck through a two-stage reverse auction method. The primary objective is to prequalify bidders for participation in an online reverse auction scheduled for January 27, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. local time. Interested vendors must submit priced bid proposals electronically via www.centralbidding.com or through sealed physical submissions to the City Clerk by January 13, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. local time. The procurement specifically targets the acquisition of a leaf truck, with comprehensive specifications available through the Purchasing Manager's office and the Central Bidding website. The city reserves the right to extend the reverse auction date if additional time is required to prequalify submissions and maintains the discretion to reject any or all bid proposals that do not meet its standards.

While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned in the documentation, the procurement appears open to competitive bidding from qualified vendors. The city will evaluate proposals based on the lowest and best bid that serves the municipal interest. No incumbent vendor information or existing infrastructure integration requirements are detailed in the provided documents. The precise budget range or expected award value for the leaf truck is not specified in the procurement notice. Potential bidders should carefully review the complete specifications and contract documents to ensure full compliance with the City of Olive Branch's procurement requirements and to understand the technical and operational expectations for the leaf truck procurement.
