About this opportunity

Hall County, Georgia Board of Commissioners is requesting bids on remodeling three fire stations under IFB 024-47, with sealed bids due September 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EST and a mandatory pre-bid meeting with site visits on September 4, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. The County will award a single contractor to perform all work across all three stations.

Fire Station 7 work includes bathroom remodels in three separate bathrooms (Chief's, Main, and Unisex) with tile removal and installation, fixture upgrades, painting, and epoxy flooring. Fire Stations 13 and 14 require full station remodels excluding kitchen work: terrazzo flooring refinishing, interior and exterior painting with zero VOC paint for living quarters, ceiling grid and tile replacement, bathroom shower replacements with porcelain tiles and Delta fixtures, LED lighting updates, bay ceiling fan replacement, door refinishing, electrical face plate replacement, cove base replacement, exterior power washing and repairs, and HVAC vent replacement.

Bidders must hold valid Georgia licenses, insurance, and bonding. The awarded contractor must obtain performance and payment bonds equal to 100 percent of the contract amount prior to Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit two hard-copy paper copies of the bid (one marked "Original," one marked "Copy"), one hard-copy Cost Proposal Worksheet (Exhibit C), and one USB drive containing all responses. Required exhibits include Bid Response Form (Exhibit A), Contract for Services (Exhibit B), W-9, E-Verify Affidavit, Ethics Affidavit, proof of business license, certificates of insurance, and professional licenses or certifications. Bids must remain valid for 120 calendar days following opening, which will be publicly read. The County will award to the lowest cost, responsible, and responsive bidder, with lead times and project completion length as potential secondary factors. Bidders' questions are due September 9, 2026, with responses provided September 11, 2026. The County is exempt from Georgia sales and use tax; the contractor is responsible for applicable taxes. All bids are subject to federal suspension and debarment compliance requirements if federal grant funding applies.
