About this opportunity
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement to implement the USAID Investment, Jobs and Income (IJI) program. The program aims to advance the United States' goal of a more prosperous and democratic Haiti by strengthening the Haitian private sector, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to improve their managerial and operating performance and access the financing they need to grow, thereby creating jobs and fostering inclusive economic growth. USAID will review applications based on merit review criteria and intends to make one award to the applicant who best meets the program's objectives. The deadline for questions is November 11, 2024, and applications are due by December 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM local time.
USAID intends to provide up to $15 million in total funding for the IJI program over a 5-year period. The program will focus on developing and supporting a finance provider network, engaging a pay-for-performance based network of transaction originators and business advisory services providers, providing support for supply chain integration and trade linkages, and establishing a public-private Advisory Council. This opportunity is open to unrestricted applicant types and falls under the CFDA 98.001 USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas grant program.
