About this opportunity
This federal grant opportunity seeks to maintain and enhance the capacity of the Prevention Technology Transfer Centers Network to provide training and technical assistance services to the substance misuse prevention field. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration aims to increase the competency level of the prevention workforce by training professionals in substance misuse prevention science practices. Applicants must work directly with SAMHSA and across the PTTC Network on activities to improve implementation and delivery of effective substance misuse prevention interventions based in prevention science, implementation science, and evidence-based or promising practices. Applications will be evaluated based on the applicant's ability to advance equity for underserved populations. Applications are due no later than April 24, 2024.
The Prevention Technology Transfer Centers Cooperative Agreements are assigned under the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Projects of Regional and National Significance program, which supports priority substance abuse treatment, prevention and mental health needs of regional and national significance.
