About this opportunity
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is seeking applications for the Performing Arts Global Exchange (PAGE) program in fiscal year 2026. This nationwide grant program aims to increase the availability of international performing arts programming in the United States and promote greater understanding of other cultures through the performing arts. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. The selected U.S. Regional Arts Organization (RAO) will provide subawards to nonprofit arts presenters that contract performing artists from the PAGE roster, which is curated annually by the RAO. Funded projects must include a public performance and a community engagement activity that allows audiences to interact with the visiting artists, with an emphasis on underserved communities.
Awards under this program typically range from $10,000 to $150,000, with some larger grants up to $1.75 million for nationwide initiatives. The application deadline is January 23, 2025, and the performance period is expected to last 1-2 years. Funded projects can take place in communities across the United States and its territories.
Synopsis
Performing Arts Global Exchange (PAGE) is a nationwide program designed to increase availability of international performing arts programming throughout the United States and to promote a greater understanding of other cultures through the performing arts. Through the PAGE program, the NEA will award funds to a U.S. Regional Arts Organization (RAO) to provide subawards to nonprofit arts presenters located anywhere in the United States and its territories that contract performing artists from the PAGE roster, curated annually by the RAO. Artists on the roster have not widely toured in the United States and reside in a focus region, selected by the RAO for its rich array of artists. An emphasis is placed on funding projects in underserved communities that have little access to this type of artistic work. Subaward project activities must include a public performance and a community engagement activity that provides audiences direct interaction with the visiting artists.
