About this opportunity

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is soliciting proposals for the Intrinsic Cognitive Security program through a Broad Agency Announcement. The program aims to develop computational methods to build mixed reality systems that protect users from cognitive attacks through formal modeling and guarantees. Proposals are due by April 12th, 2024 and will be evaluated based on addressing identified technical challenges in guarantees, models, prototypes, and evaluations of mixed reality systems. Eligible applicants include educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and commercial firms capable of conducting basic research, applied research and advanced research with potential military or dual-use applications.

Multiple awards between $3-10 million each are expected to be made under the Research and Technology Development grant program assigned to this opportunity. The work is expected to be performed by educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and commercial firms capable of conducting basic research, applied research and advanced research with potential military or dual-use applications.

Synopsis
