About this opportunity

The Bureau of Land Management is seeking applications for its FY24 IIJA/IRA Aquatic Resource Management program in Wyoming. Eligible applicants including state and local governments, educational institutions, and non-profits can apply for funding to support projects that protect and restore riparian areas, wetlands, aquatic habitats and water resources on public lands through May 2029. Applicants must submit proposals by February 2, 2024 that demonstrate how projects will ensure water availability, restore degraded resources, and advance decision-making tools in alignment with program goals. Evaluation will consider an applicant's technical approach, qualifications, benefits to the public, and ability to further the purpose of Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit networks.

Individual awards between $50,000 to $600,000 are available for one to five-year projects, with approximately $200,000 total available under the program. Funded work is expected to be performed on Bureau of Land Management properties within Wyoming.
