About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) is seeking applications for cooperative agreements to support NGO programs in South Sudan responding to the ongoing crisis in Sudan. The proposed activities must be undertaken in South Sudan to provide emergency response operations for new arrivals at the border in reception and transit centers, and in official refugee sites, with a target participant base of at least 50% refugees or refugee returnees. PRM will evaluate proposals based on criteria such as program description, monitoring and evaluation, accountability, coordination, sustainability, and management/past performance. The application deadline is May 10, 2024.
PRM anticipates making multiple awards under this funding opportunity, with a period of performance of 12 months starting September 1, 2024. The total amount of funding available will be determined during the application review process. Eligible applicants include U.S. and overseas-based non-profit organizations and international organizations. The funding is provided under the Overseas Refugee Assistance Programs for Africa (CFDA 19.517).
