About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) is seeking proposals from organizations in North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean, to create a technical secretariat to support the implementation of the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection. The secretariat will be responsible for organizing meetings, tracking government commitments, promoting stakeholder engagement, and other duties related to this hemispheric forum on safe, orderly, and humane migration. PRM will evaluate proposals based on criteria such as the program narrative, objectives, monitoring and evaluation plan, coordination with stakeholders, sustainability, management and past performance, risk management, and budget. The proposal submission deadline is August 9, 2024.

PRM anticipates awarding up to $1 million total through this cooperative agreement opportunity, with the possibility of continued multi-year funding. The award period is up to three years, with annual increments contingent on performance and available funding. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, for-profit organizations, and international organizations, all of whom must comply with PRM's general NGO funding guidelines.
