About this opportunity
The Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs is seeking proposals from U.S. public and private non-profit organizations with at least 4 years of experience in administering international exchange programs to cooperate in the administration and implementation of the FY 2024 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD). The program will provide scholarships for approximately 245 outstanding, underserved undergraduate students from targeted regions around the world to study for one semester at accredited U.S. higher education institutions, with some students also participating in an additional semester of pre-academic English language training. Proposals will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity in program planning and administration to maximize the number of scholarships awarded.
The total funding available for this cooperative agreement award is up to $6,770,000, pending availability of FY 2024 funds. The period of performance is from the estimated award date of July 25, 2024 through June 30, 2027. Eligible applicants must submit proposals by the deadline of May 28, 2024. The program is authorized under the Fulbright-Hays Act and falls under CFDA 19.009 - Academic Exchange Programs - Undergraduate Programs.
