About this opportunity
This Federal Grant Opportunity, announced by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) El Salvador and Central America Regional Mission (ES-CAM), seeks to partner with various stakeholders to contribute to achieving USAID/El Salvador's Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) 2020-2025 goal of reducing the drivers of irregular migration by fostering a more self-reliant El Salvador. The APS is open to eligible U.S. and non-U.S. organizations, with a focus on local capacity strengthening and engaging new and underutilized partners. USAID will not accept concept papers but will issue future addenda during the one-year validity period to solicit proposals for specific activities.
The total anticipated funding under this APS and resulting addenda is $715 million, with $303 million available for future addenda. USAID anticipates issuing multiple awards over the lifetime of the APS, with individual awards ranging from one to five years in duration. The APS aligns with USAID's regional priorities and the U.S. Government's strategies to address the root causes of migration in Central America.
