About this opportunity
The Department of State's Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO) is seeking proposals for a cooperative agreement to empower Pacific Island Countries (PICs) to identify and prevent economic coercion or corruption that may impact their ability to make sovereign decisions. The program will provide regional expertise, background research, and advice on coordinating tabletop exercises for the PICs. The key requirements include demonstrating an understanding of the Pacific region and strategies to build resilience against foreign influence. Proposals are due by June 27, 2024.
The budget for this opportunity is unspecified, but it will likely involve multiple awards to support the regional coordination and tabletop exercises across the Pacific Island Countries. The place of performance is expected to include the participating PICs, with the awardee potentially required to travel to the region to provide the necessary expertise and support.
Synopsis
The Department of State's Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO) aims to support a program to empower Pacific Island Countries (PICs) to identify areas of possible economic coercion or corruption and create strategies to prevent foreign influence from negatively impacting their ability to make sovereign decisions and to build their resilience to such influence. This program will provide regional expertise, background topical research and advice on coordinating a regional or national tabletop exercise or exercises (TTX) for the PICs.
