Forecast text

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Engineering Services Division (ESD), is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for a new Digital Video Recorder (DVR) system to replace the current obsolete system utilized on both MH-60 and MH-65 rotary-wing aircraft platforms. The existing recording capabilities on board the USCG rotary wing platforms have reached obsolescence and are no longer supportable. This procurement also supports the USCG's transition to High Definition (HD) sensors and the initial integration of this technology into its rotary-wing fleet. This initiative aims to maintain mission effectiveness by ensuring imagery can be recorded and transferred for review and data extraction. The digital video recorder shall store and support the recall of data for event recreation and legal prosecution.
