This sources sought notice is for planning purposes only. All information contained herein is preliminary, and subject to changes and/or cancellation at the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors shall provide responses to this notice voluntarily, and at no cost to the Government. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. Based upon information received in response to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government shall make a determination on a procurement strategy, which shall include the type of small business set-aside, if appropriate. The eventual procurement strategy and set-aside, if appropriate, is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $39.5M. Project magnitude is anticipated between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.

Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See https://www.sam.gov/SAM/pages/public/index.jsf ). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. Description of Services

Project 570-CSI-416, DESIGN-BUILD GE INTERVENTIONAL IMAGING UNIT IN SURGICAL SUITE #4 OF BUILDING 1. The project will be located at VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno, California. Work shall include, but is not limited to, the following:

The awarded General Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, contractor quality control (CQC), supervision, project management, engineering services, administrative support, and specialized expertise to design and upgrade/expand the Fresno VA Medical Center operating room # four (4) with the acquired GE ALLIA IGS740 Imaging unit, Maquet Magnus Surgical Table, and light/monitor Booms. The awarded contractor shall provide all necessary/required professional engineering services to include, but not limited to: Investigation / evaluation / design services, tools, equipment, materials, labor, travel, expertise, supervision, testing, analysis, and specialty services to accomplish all items and requirements outlined in the Statement of Work. The awarded contractor shall prepare the Schematic Design, Design Development Drawings, Construction Documents, Specifications, Calculations, Cost Estimates, As-Built Drawings, and all other necessary documentation for all disciplines as required for area preparation, installation/construction of the supplied GE ALLIA IGS740 Single Plane Interventional Imaging Unit and the Maquet Magnus Operating Table System in the Operating Room #4.

Period of Performance (POP)

Total POP: Three Hundred (300) calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed (NTP)
