The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, VA Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center located at 351 E. Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 has a requirement to improve the facility infrastructure that supports the deployment of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ New Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM). Work will be performed in a functioning hospital environment. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, training, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to accomplish the work. The work includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings (when available) of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes.

This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed as verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Size Standard of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The VA will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) on or about May 21, 2021 via Contract Opportunities at https://beta.sam.gov/.
