The scope of work encompasses the repair and replacement of 20 windows and 4 glass doors using in-kind materials and includes all necessary labor and associated work required to complete the project. Work must be coordinated carefully to minimize disruption to the operational healthcare facility, with repairs presumed to be conducted primarily from the exterior; however, additional infection control and remedial action (ICRA) measures may be required if interior access becomes necessary. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $45 million. The formal Request for Proposal is expected to be posted on or about December 30, 2025, with a proposal submission deadline of January 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM Mountain Time. Interested parties should contact the point of contact, Elia Ruiz Manzo, at 303-712-5727 or Elia-Laritza.Ruiz-Manzo@va.gov for additional information.

The estimated project magnitude ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000, reflecting a substantial construction undertaking at the medical center. Contractors are required to validate window types and properties with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) prior to ordering materials, and any temporary movement, removal, or reinstallation of interior or exterior features necessary to execute the repairs is included within the contract scope. No incumbent contractor or current vendor information is referenced in this presolicitation notice.
