About this opportunity
The National Park Service Intermountain Region has issued a Sole Source Notice of Intent to Award for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Maintenance and Support services at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. This is not a competitive solicitation but rather a notification that the government intends to award a contract to a single source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b). The procurement will utilize simplified acquisition procedures and is classified under NAICS code 541511 (Custom Computer Programming Services) with a Small Business Size Standard of $34 million. The announcement was posted on January 15, 2026, with a deadline of January 22, 2026 for interested parties to submit information. No formal solicitation document is available at this time, and firms interested in providing these services should contact Contract Specialist Sharon LaRosa at Sharon_larosa@nps.gov for additional details.
The primary objective of this procurement is to obtain ongoing maintenance, support, and update services for Yellowstone National Park's CAD system, which is critical to park operations. Any firm that believes it possesses the technical capabilities to provide CAD maintenance and support consultation services is invited to contact the Contract Specialist to learn more about the specific requirements and system specifications. The government will evaluate all responses received by the January 22, 2026 deadline to determine whether to proceed with the proposed sole source award strategy; responses will be used to support the government's non-competitive procurement decision. While there are no specific formal eligibility restrictions outlined in the notice, firms must demonstrate relevant expertise in CAD system maintenance and support services. This streamlined procurement approach allows the government to expedite the award process while still providing interested contractors an opportunity to express their capabilities.
