About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources and suitable locations for a new lease to establish a Veteran's Center in Georgetown/Sussex County, Delaware. The VA is seeking up to approximately 4,200 square feet of net usable space, with a preference for first-floor space that is contiguous, outside a 100-year flood plain, and accessible. The space must include a lobby area, staff and clinical space, and support areas, with a minimum of 20 on-site parking spaces. All businesses are invited to respond, but the VA is specifically requesting Capabilities Statements from Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) registered in the VetCert system. Responses must be submitted to the Lease Contracting Officer by October 28, 2024.

This is a Sources Sought Notice only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for proposals. There is no set-aside designation, and the VA has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The government is limited by law to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for the space. The VA is conducting this market research to determine the availability of suitable locations and potential sources for the new Veteran's Center lease.
